Once a specification has been provided and a contract signed, you will know 100% how much the project will cost. Moreover, you only pay when we produce. Our fee schedule is always 20% up front and then the remaining 80% in four additional 20% chunks when we meet certain milestones. If we do not reach a milestone in the agreed upon time then the payment for that milestone is waived. If we do poorly, we get paid less. If we meet are targets, we get paid as agreed. This way, you don't pay for delays and only pay for finished work.
Since the fees are pre-determined, there is no uncertainty in the total cost of the project. Of course, if you change the specification in the middle of the project then a new contract will often be required with new milestone specifics.
Our fees are competitive and payments can be made by check drawn on a UK Bank Account, check drawn on a US bank account or credit card (American Express, MasterCard or Visa). Although each client has particular needs which result in a different project cost, fees tend to range from several hundreds of dollars for small applications such as custom shopping carts or forums to several thousands of dollars for comprehensive dating sites and other multi-faceted interactive sites.
In many cases, it is more cost-effective to modify available open source software rather than create a new application from scratch. We will always point out when there is available software to meet a need.
